Talk about being lucky.
A 29-year old man who runs a store which sells secondhand articles of clothing received a great shock when he found a huge stash of Japanese currencies which was kept neatly inside a black pouch.
Wan Mohamad Adam Wan Mohamed who runs his business in Bachok, Kelantan said that he purchased two sacks of used clothing from a warehouse in Wakaf Bharu for RM100 and brought them back to his shop.
While going through his goods, he found the pouch which was tucked inside a coat. Upon inspection, he discovered 550,000 yen which carries a value of roughly RM20,700.
Adam then proceeded to count the money before posting his discovery on Facebook. Since there was no way in identifying the owner of the coat and the money, he decided to keep the cash!
Adam, in his post on Facebook, displayed his little fortune of Malaysian ringgit after paying a visit to the money changer. He will not sell the coat and the money pouch as he considers them to be his lucky charms, according to Harian Metro.
Adam has expressed his intention to expand his business using the money.
